Isn't it funny how all these people are calling americans ignorant and arrogant. Do they not realize that every time they mention america, they are adding to our power ? china is nowhere close to passing america as a world power: universities, freedom, health care, athletes, pop culture, standard of living, scientific advancement, immigration, consumer power, economy size, military power, aiding foreign countries during disaster, original consumer brands @ girl, that does not make them a super power, @vaughan, nise spelling grammar and sentencde structure. @julio ive contributed to pop culture, athletes, and universities. @ tom and girl, I never mentioned education, but it is a fact that The US has 17 of the top 20 universities in the world, none in china. check that, 13 out of 20 none of the top 20 universities in the world are in china again, i never mentioned the k-12 education system, with scholarships financial aid and community colleges, all high school students in america have a chance to recieve further education. When I mentioned universities, i was reffering to the reasearch that universities perform, not to the education system. Who is bragging ? All i did was use the above reasons to prove that The US is a superpower and China is not despite what common idiotis think. "america is not the best" this is not a statement because it cannot be proven or disproven. as i said all of the points i made are true and define america as a world power can you not use super general words like "good" and "greatest" , these words do not make statements and are meaningless what do you mean "add power" Oh ok, that might have sounded a little arrogant, i meant that the fact that they are mentioning the US proves that we have an impact on their lives.

Open Question: Am I classified as a Japanophile/weeaboo?

Now, don't go judging me straight away just because I love anime and manga. The truth is I do enjoy watching anime but I just find manga a bit boring. And now to the point... My interest in Japanese culture stems from my great love for Chinese characters (Hanzi/Hanja/Kanji/Han tu). I have a basic (yet almost in-depth) knowledge of it's history and it's several types of Buddhism and different religions (and don't get me wrong, I love Japanese history). I am no atheist (just had to say it, because I find a lot of weeaboos who are atheistic unless if one negates that issue). Also, basically, I study Japanese at university and I watch anime, old Japanese films (yes, even the classics of Kurosawa) and read about samurai. But, I believe that I disassociate from the weeaboos because: 1. I love the language more than the anime and manga themselves and I do my best to speak it with proper sense. 2. Japanese culture is not the only culture I love entirely. I also have an interest in Chinese, Korean and Celtic cultures too. (NOTE: I am of Celtic blood, as my family are of English and Cornish origin who spoke Welsh and I am also part Scot from another side). 3. I don't play dress ups, like most weeaboos would and really I think the Japanese do it because... they only do it once in a while, IMHO. They wouldn't treat it like it's 'radical' or 'SUGOI'. 4. I don't have a library of J-pop, J-rap or any of that tat. It bothers me to why they put English in their lyrics. My most favourite music genres would be anything to do with House music or Jazz, especially French House and Chill House. So again, I don't listen to J-music and I think it's ok but not awesome. 5. All I care about is the Kanji. They are the reason why I love the 3 cultures of the Far East (China, Korea and Japan) and I want to study about it's definitions, origins, and everything about them. So, to put into summary, I love Japanese culture, for its' history, language, society, martial arts and religions but I also have interests in other cultures too (and mind me, I am of mixed blood). To be honest, it is the writing system and speech that matters to me the most, and that brings me to love the culture. So... how would you classify me? uh, Hannah Smith? fyi, I am in no way Afro-American! Never judge a book by it's cover.

I work in a nice cozy studio in L.A with other black female singers, and they all are so rude and very disrespectful. They always, like, say things like I'm such a bust-down, and all I do is suck some chicken 'dick' (which, like, doesn't even make any sense) and they're always booty popping' every time the beat to their OWN music comes on! So I figured out that if I want them to accept me, I have to basically kiss their butt cheeks, or else they'll have a problem with me. So I offered them each some money, then they complained saying things like "what? You think a sista po'? cant make huh' own money?!?" (but they did take the money). Open Question: Is seeing sexuality in TV/movies harmful to children?

I've always taken it for granted that if kids see sex/nudity in movies they will be corrupted. I can certainly see how something like porn (which usually objectifies and cheapens sexuality) would be very bad for a kid to see but if it's presented as between two people who love each other and as a natural/normal act is it really harmful to a child's psyche? Will it make him/her "promiscuous" at an early age. On the other hand I can certainly see violence scarring a kid but unlike sex, violence is an unfortunate reality. Background: as a kid I always thought sex was something dirty and that only deviant people did it because of how it was presented by pop culture (cheaply) and then when I realized everyone had sex, including my parents it kind of disturbed me.
