Open Question: Itchy facial skin, benzoyl peroxide allergy?

I have been on the same skincare regimen for almost 2 years, and have never had this issue. The regimen is basically a wash, a treatment with benzoyl peroxide, and a moisturizer. It has kept my skin relatively clear without too much dryness or irritation. As of last month I began to notice that I was getting itchy around the top of my hairline and sideburns, as well as my eyebrows, and I also began to develop small hives under my eye and by my nose. I am not sure why this was happening, and thought it was because of the BP so I stopped using it. I broke out horribly, and I let it go on for two weeks to see if it would clear with Salicylic Acid. The itchiness subsided a bit, but never went completely away and I continued to break out. I finally got fed up with this and put the benzoyl peroxide back on, and I am itchy like crazy. I made a dermatologists appointment when this first began, but it is still two weeks away. I don't understand what is going on, and it is really frustrating to be itchy and breaking out. Could it be some sort of fungal or bacterial infection?? Is is possible to develop an allergy to a product even if you have been using it for years withouth an problems? Any insight would be greatly appreciated, I am at my wits end!

i have tried alot of products and none have worked for me proactiv, clinique and all kinds of other stuff i have combination skin breakout on chin alot and once in a while on forhead. would exposed skincare work has anyone tried and got good results im 19 didnt start getting acne until now and i do exercise every day lift weights every other day and im a male

I have been enjoying or curious to enjoy many feminine type activities. I have been interested in theatre, yoga, meditating, cooking, adopting a facial skincare regimen and seeking classy hair salons for a new look. I would enjoy going to a spa and just not being so much of the male stereotype. I guess that metrosexual appeal is just more attractive and able to build to my peak confidence. I find myself shopping online for clothes at Armani Exchange. I am also thinking about dying my hair a shade lighter as well. Does this mean anything to anyone at all? BTW Im 26. Thanks!

i was thikning burts bees deep soapbark and chamomile cream cleanser murad post lighteing gel to fight scars then aloe vera gel to moisturize is that good for acne?? im recently using clindamycin for 2-3 weeks and i acutaly broke out huge had 2 zits everyone wouldnt stop talking about it lol its weird cuz i never had this before when i bought it anyways im almost running out of it. so i need ur opinion should i buy more of that clindamycin and keep using it for a month?? because its 15 dollors for 30 ml or just change my skincare regime=)

Resolved Question: Good drugstore skincare routine for getting rid of acne quickly?

I don't know what it is, but I've had really bad acne lately. My makeup looks really weird if I use my normal makeup routine for my face. I'm washing my face like I normally do, but its not getting any better! Here's the products I use (Night, I don't wash face in the morning): - Clearasil Overnight Wash - St. Ives Apricot Scrub (Every other day, to every three days) - Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner - Clean and Clear Dual Action Moisturizer Thats what I do. It's not making my face any better, no matter how religiously I wash it. Should I start washing my face in the morning too with another face wash? What cleared your acne? Please help! By the way, YES, I have tried Proactiv, but did not work. It cleared my face some, but gave me a horrible rash with an ugly, itchy, red face.
